DEATH THREAT (USA/MI)

Death Threat Started in Oxford Michigan in The Summer of 1988 with the hope of creating a heavy sound for ourselves that was our own. We had several line up changes over our 5 year existence but the main core of the band stayed intact until nearly the end. Death Threat started out as a Dark angel, Slayer, Dead Brain Cells, Metallica, Death Angel influenced band. We continued to change our music style in pace with our changing musical tastes. In 1988 we recorded 2 songs ourselves by using a 4 track machine. We didn't like the end result so it was not released. In 1989 we recorded at the Barnstorm Studios in Hadley, Michigan. We liked the recording but it was only released in Limited amounts. In 1991 we recorded "the Support of Some is The Suffocation of others". We recorded here in Michigan at The Disc Limited. We then took the tape to Florida and Did the final mix at Morrisound Studios With Death Metal Legend, Scott Burns. Sadly Death Threat broke up in early 1993 after our only out of state show in Toledo Ohio.
